Welcome to Campus

Toms River, NJ

At Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey, the Student Enrollment Building welcomes new and returning students to campus and showcases school spirit in a functional space for registration and for engaging with university staff.

The energy-efficient building was designed to consolidate all major student services into one location among the Student Center, Bookstore and Conference Center.

In designing the accessible, energy-efficient building, architects turned to CENTRIA to deliver an eye-catching, durable façade solution that would stand the test of time and make the building inviting.

Open and Inviting

CENTRIA’s Intercept Entryre modular metal wall system was the ideal solution for integrating with masonry, curtainwall and roofing on the Student Enrollment Building. Construction crews installed 2,300 square feet of Bright White panels.

“The Student Enrollment Center features a large glass curtain wall to make it a larger open space inside, and the Intercept panels created the right aesthetic look for the top and ends of the building as well as around the entrance way of the building,” said Craig Miller, project manager at Pravco, Inc.

CENTRIA Intercept is a modular metal wall panel system that incorporates different substrates, depths, tapers, slopes and perforations to allow for design versatility and easy installation. The Entyre line offers smooth planes, clean sight lines, and integration excellence with concealed fasteners that work in conjunction with sequentially installed modular panel units. Entyre back-ventilated panels are lightweight and installed without sealants, delivering a low maintenance exterior that provides protection from air, water, thermal, and vapor intrusion.

Intercept Entyre panels are noncombustible, are compliant with NFPA 285, and are 98% recyclable at the end of the panel’s life span. The high recyclability of the panels earned Entyre the Living Future Declare Label, making it a sustainable choice for new construction.
