The $140 million Caltrain Centralized Equipment Maintenance and Operations Facility consolidates much of the company’s maintenance operations into one location in San Jose, CA, accomadating many critical activities including daily inspections, scheduled maintenance, running repairs, train washing and storage.

The array of CENTRIA products that make up the exterior walls and roof include: Formawall® Dimension Series®, Versawall, Structural Standing Seam roofing and three different profile panels – totaling over 89,000 square feet.

The architect was SRV, Los Angeles, CA. General contractor was Shimmick/Obayashi, Joint Venture, Hayward, CA, and South San Francisco, CA. The CENTRIA dealer/installer was A.C. Dellovade, Canonsburg, PA. CENTRIA products used on this project were: Versawall in Platinum Embossed Striated and Bone White Embossed Striated; Super-Rib in Platinum and Carmine Red; IW-10A in Arctic Ice, Platinum and Bone White; Structural Standing Seam Roof SRS® 3 -1.5; Formawall® Dimension Series® in Platinum Embossed; and IW-60A in Platinum.
